Hi, I am Kelly Monique.
I am a self-taught photographer and event designer who loves to bring my clients' idea of a perfect session — or a perfect event — to reality. My journey began in December 2006, designing elaborate birthday parties for my own children. While sitting at my daughter's 6th birthday party, a spa-themed celebration at a local teen spa, she suggested we open our own spa for little girls. Within four months, Hello Gorgeous, the home of The Ultimate Spa Party, opened for business. My love and passion for event design rapidly progressed from there — I designed my first Sweet 16 that same December, and my first wedding in October 2007.
June 2011 marked the beginning of my journey into professional photography. It started with creative sessions of my own children, and much like event design before it, my love for capturing moments quickly took on a life of its own.
I am a graduate of the University of Houston – Main Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I began my first career as an IT Property Custodian for Jacobs Engineering in the Aerospace Industry. After seven years, I decided to pursue full-time entrepreneurship in event design — and one year later, photography joined my list of talents and skills. Senior photography quickly became my specialty, and it remains my favorite to this day. Engagement, family, birthday, child, maternity, and birth photography have since joined the areas of photography I've successfully built a name in.

Our event design includes fresh florals, unique centerpieces, linens, chargers, aisle decor, bridal party flowers, sweet stations, and more. Upscale children's parties are available under the name Hello Gorgeous — bring us your theme, and we'll create a party for your child that leaves your guests chattering for days, weeks, even months. We don't offer packages; every event is unique and customized to fit your budget and your vision.
When I'm not designing events or capturing memories behind the lens, I'm spending time with my three children — shopping, trying new restaurants, and taking their photos. By the way, they're my worst clients! LOL!
